Barnard Students treated to a Cultural Assembly from Zehjiang University

On October 10, 2011, a group of 25 Zhejiang University of Media and Communication performers arrived in San Diego as their first stop in the United States on their “Eastern Rhyme of Passion” American Campus Tour. Cheering Barnard students excitedly greeted the performers upon their arrival. Despite the limited time for preparation and an 18 hour plane ride from China, these musicians, dancers, and singers presented a beautiful show which showcased the rich culture and heritage of China. We want to thank our partners in education CI at San Diego State University and managing director Dr. Lily Cheng for arraigning the group to be able to perform for our community. Thank you and Xie Xie!
